Ryanair Flights Start Departing Between Manchester & Podgorica

Back in June of this year one of the UK’s largest Budget Airlines (Ryanair) released their Winter schedule, which included a brand new route between their base in Manchester and Montenegro. Already proving to be highly popular, the first few flights travelled the new route in early November, and it’s the first time that Manchester and Podgorica have been linked with a non-stop service.

Already proving to be highly popular, the first few flights travelled the new route in early November, and it’s the first time that Manchester and Podgorica have been linked with a non-stop service.

The new route is actually the ninth destination from the Montenegrin Capital, and it will operate twice per week on Thursday and Sunday, so it’s perfect for those wishing to get away for an economy-friendly weekend away, especially given that the flight time is only 3h,10m.

Even now, return flights between Manchester and Podgorica are very reasonably priced, and depending on when you wish to fly, will cost anything from €40+ per person. If Podgorica doesn’t work for you, then Ryanair do also fly to Montenegro’s other International Airport in Tivat, but that tends to be a lot more expensive.

It’s worth noting that Ryanair was the first ever low-cost carrier to operate into Montenegro, so it’s even better to see them extending the level of service here, with the introduction of new routes. Hopefully, as tourism demands continue to grow, there will be even more routes added both in the UK & abroad.
