New Flights to Montenegro from the UK
Monday 24th June saw the newest flight from the UK to Tivat take-off from Bristol Airport to meet growing demand from the tourism market to visit the beautiful Balkan enclave of Montenegro. Services are due to run on Monday's and Friday's, and according to Easyjet, who will be operating the new route, they already offer more seats to Montenegro from the UK than any other carrier.

Looking back, Croatia has always been a firm favorite with tourists and package holiday enthusiasts from the UK, however, over recent years as numbers and demand has increased, so have the prices, and therefore many have started to look for more affordable, yet equally as interesting alternatives in the region, and Montenegro has come up trumps!
Much of Montenegro's main attractions lie along it's coastline with areas such as the UNESCO town of Kotor, the luxury waterfront and promenade of Tivat, and the glorious history of Budva, without forgetting the beautiful more inland areas such as the protected Durmitor National Park. Certainly the images of Montenegro online should offer inspriation to visit, but you may surprised to know that the reality is even more beautiful. Add to that, the fact that you don't a million dollars to enjoy your time here, and it's a win-win situation.
There are already quite a few of the budget airlines that fly direct to Montenegro from the UK and these include Ryanair and Wizz Air, but Easyjet offer the most seats to the country than any other airline plus this year it has the most extensive flying programme to the country. UK Country Manager Ali Gayward commented recently that they were 'delighted to have launched our brand new service from Bristol to Tivat providing our customers in the southwest with even more choice and a convenient connection as part of our largest-ever programme to Montenegro this summer'.
One of the most popular holiday search engines 'Kayak' have also revealed recently that not only have flights to Tivat reduced this year by around 9% on average, but searches of flights by brits to this gorgeous port town have increased 74%, not surprising that in total over 89,000 british nationals visited Montenegro in 2023 - with that figure expected to be much higher in 2024.
