Montenegro Confirmed as the Go-to Destination

Montenegro has long been talked about as the latest go-to Destination for a fun filled and adventure packaged holiday, and now, courtesy of National Geographic, it’s been confirmed, appearing second in their recent list of ‘Seven Unforgettable Family Journeys for 2021 and beyond’.

Montenegro maybe small compared to other destinations such as Spain, Portugal, France, Australia, Turkey and the USA, but that doesn’t mean its any less appealing, with so much to do here whether its along the coastline or in one of their five national parks.

If it’s adventure you are looking for in Montenegro, then head over to the stunning Natural parks where hiking, biking, canyoning and rafting are all available, or if you are after something more relaxing head to the amazing beaches at Budva, Boka Bay, or Becici. For a historical trip, there’s nothing like Kotor, and the old city, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site list and whose castle dates back to the old Venetian era of the 15th-17th century.

There’s 2 major airports to serve you in Montenegro, Tivat & Podgorica, plus there’s plenty of other options, including the Cruise Industry, which will actually take you direct into Kotor.
