Germany Expresses A Further Investment Interest in Montenegro
Germany looks set to become a long term and reliable Investor in Montenegro, as a delegation of interested individuals led by Volker Zeh (Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Germany) met with Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and discussed various ideas.
Germany looks set to become a long term and reliable Investor in Montenegro, as a delegation of interested individuals led by Volker Zeh (Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Germany) met with Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and discussed various ideas.
Already looking to strengthen & promote tourism with the announcement of more direct flights between Germany & Montenegro, there was also significant interest in a re-development of the airport in Berane, which would be very attractive to the Montenegrin Government as they look to further improve infrastructure throughout the country and meet growing demand.
The North of Montenegro has also been discussed as a potential for Investors, as have the digital and energy sectors, both of which could be highly important for years to come, as the world looks towards moving away from the traditional Oil and Natural Gas, and shifting to more Greener methods such as Wind, Hydraulic and Solar.
Not only that, but the expression of wishing to build sustainable & profitable companies in Montenegro, that hired locally, would also be of huge benefit to Montenegro, boosting the local & national economy, as well as improving further upon the skills of an already highly capable workforce.
After the meeting, Dritan Abazović pointed out that ‘As our International Partner, Germany is strategically important for Montenegro, and they are more than welcome to invest in Montenegro’. Germany has one of the strongest economies within Europe, and with the investments projected to start within the next few years, it’s a positive outlook for Montenegro.
