A New 5* Luxury Hotel Planned for Bar – to Open in 2025!

One of the largest Hotel Groups in the World, with several different brands under its portfolio, is set to start building a new luxury retreat in Bar, with a proposed total investment of €57m over the next five years.

The new hotel which will form part of Radisson Group who also own the brands Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu and Radisson Individuals, amongst others, is set to be completed in 2025 and it will have 322 rooms available, including luxurious communal areas, a 24 hr reception desk, 200m of its own beach, a water park, a casino and 6 restaurants.

Currently, Bar does not have a 5* Hotel and this new investment will help Montenegro further its goals of becoming a worldwide and well-renowned tourist destination including sending good signals and messages of the country’s willingness to receive foreign investment in this growing sector.

Once the news had broken of the impending investment, The Vice President of Business Development at the Radisson Hotel Group, David Jenkins, was keen to point out that ‘Montenegro is a beautiful country and we fully believe in the potential of Montenegro for our brands’. He went on to add that they will contribute to increased tourist numbers, increase in employment and create more opportunities for talented individuals in the Hotel Industry, all of which is good news for Montenegro and perfectly aligns with their growth plans over the next few years.
